Why is it that today almost half of all marriages end in divorce? No one ever began their marriage with that end in mind and no one ever thinks it will happen to them. This is real life – where we all live. Societies are destroyed one family at a time; they are rebuilt in exactly the same fashion.

Making Marriage Work is a ministry of The Place of Grace and is designed to equip you as a husband or wife to step into the battle and win your marriage. God’s design for marriage and family is simple, and it works. He has given us the blueprints; it is up to us to apply them.

Making Marriage Work meets every 2nd Saturday of the month from 10:00-12:00 noon. Refreshments and child care provided.

The intent of this Worship Arts Ministry is to lead the people each week in authentic worship of Almighty God through a variety of musical and artistic faith expressions which are developed through weekly rehearsals, special programs and seasonal concerts. We intend to worship God not only through music and the arts, but also through Godly leadership, Bible-centered preaching and teaching, praise, prayer, obedience, confession, repentance, forgiveness, and our giving.

Children are a blessing from the Lord. With these blessings also come responsibilities. As stewards of God's children, parents are responsible for helping children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. The Place of Grace also recognize that as a ministry, we have a responsibility toward children, too. We want to provide an environment in which children are safe, are taught at an age-appropriate level, and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.

We minister to the spiritual needs of our children through a children's ministry program. The need for this program is evident in that many young people reach adulthood and decide not to follow Christ. They had not been prepared to accept him as their Savior. One reason for this is that some churches do not have an effective ministry to children -- do not have a program to help them receive Jesus into their lives.

If we are to have a healthy future, it is essential that we have a viable children's ministry.

The goal of children's ministry is to lead children toward knowing and accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. To achieve this goal, we emphasize the following five areas:

  • Formal instruction, such as occurs in children's church classes.
  • Informal instruction, in activities such as summer sports programs, and in the emotional atmosphere involved in all activities.
  • Service opportunities, in which children and volunteers become involved in serving the community and church members.
  • Adult Christian examples, in which children learn by seeing. Children see how adults interact with children, how they interact with other adults, and how they relate to God.
  • Service and support for the parents. By offering children weekly religious instruction, we also free parents to participate fully in the adult worship service.

    • Our children ministry takes place every Sunday Morning at 11:00AM

    The Youth and Young Adult Ministry is geared to the development of the Youth’s walk with God. We are committed to disciplining, training and mentoring the youth in their journey to draw closer to God. We will teach the youth the importance of salvation and to build up their faith so that they too may seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). “For the Son of man is come to seek and save that which is lost.” God has shown us that we must become relevant in the lives of youth. Paul said, “I have become all things to all men, that I might save some (1 Corinthians 9:22 amp).” So we must become all things to our youth so that we might save them. We will raise up leaders of this next generation to take the Kingdom of God by force.

    God has called us to break denominational barriers while developing Kingdom leaders in this generation. These leaders will spark change in those around them by sharing the Holy Fire of God while creating a standard of holiness in every area of their lives. Our youth will allow the POWER of God to burn away those things of the flesh and put on the things of the spirit. “be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:23, 24)

    “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12: 1, 2)

    Youth Ministry meets every 3rd Friday of the month at 6:00PM

    Our goal is to help Singles connect with each other, grow int heir faith and serve others in love. Whether you've been married, divorced, are widowed or a single parent. We create an atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and network with others to grow your love for Jesus. Regardless of where. you're at in your spiritual journey, The Place of Grace family is open to you!

    Being a Christian and an entrepreneur can co-exist. This ministry will cater directly to the Christian who is a current or aspiring entrepreneur. We’re bringing light to the fact that Christianity and entrepreneurship do not have to conflict, and there are ways to live your best life as an entrepreneur in concert with God’s plan. Our church supports the healthy balance of being able to take care of your family financially and being a faithful Christian overall. Our goal is to nurture a mindset where you believe you can be a faithful Christian and thrive in your entrepreneurial ventures
